Knowing exactly who she was from a very early age left Lady Londyn ostracized and often isolated from her family, but she found acceptance and conviction through her studies and the arts at school. She was a good student and artistic, and would often stay after school in order to live her truth openly. Her mother was a very inventive and creative artist, though she did not pursue this talent professionally. Lady Londyn saw this same creativity in herself but saw a different future.
Her first time auditioning for her school’s drill team landed her team captain. She also participated in theatre, marching band, and drumline. In her years at university, she turned to freestyling with friends and cheerleading, for she found music soothes the savage beast. It was those powerful moments performing which left Lady Londyn asking, “what’s next?”
It wasn’t until after graduating from university while Lady Londyn was unhoused, that she had a vision that launched her professional music career. Her mother and her were having a disagreement when her mind flashed, clear as day, to herself standing on a stage with the audience screaming, “Lady.”
It was from that moment on, Lady Londyn knew the only thing in her way was herself and that the world would see her for who she is, even if her mother wouldn’t.
Just six months later, Lady Londyn performed at LA Pride for her first time.
Lady Londyn’s experience and personality comes through in her music, offering a playful yet powerful sound, with all the girls in mind.
She released her debut EP, Player, on May 31, 2020, her birthday, and was signed to Trans Trenderz August of that same year.
From childhood through now, Lady Londyn’s energy and assurance for herself and her dreams has protected and navigated her to becoming a lively force that is not to be reckoned with “‘cause that’s just what a Lady do.”
